Hernitha “Neat” Burdine Robinson, a woman true to her faith, is a devoted mother and caregiver to her loving father. She has been a City of Stockbridge resident for 11 years and has been a pillar of strength in the Henry and Clayton County community in excess of 18 years. For 19 years Neat has been a faithful member of Floyd Chapel Baptist Church located in the City of Stockbridge under the leadership of Pastor E.C. Cochran, Sr. She is a vibrant part of the Missions Ministry where she has worked with the youth to serve Hosea's Feed The Hungry Program, Jesus Paid It All Food Giveaway, and Stockbridge and Jonesboro Assisted Living Center. She chaired the FCBC Women's Business Expo bringing together Women of Faith to the marketplace, hosted by Floyd Chapel Women’s Ministry.
For many years Neat Robinson facilitated community fellowship among various churches in and around Henry and Clayton Counties as Floyd Chapel Baptist Church's Athletic Director. She is the Founder of the FCBC Adult Christian Co-Ed Softball League where the games were played at Arnold Park near her home church, Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church, in the City of Jonesboro. She was also the FCBC Director and Coach for Youth Basketball, Men’s Basketball, and Men’s Softball participating in Henry and Clayton Counties. Neat is a true community servant as she participates faithfully in Henry/Clayton Relay for Life, Henry/Clayton Martin Luther King Jr. Parade as well as the Stockbridge Memorial March. She faithfully volunteers as Stockbridge High School’s community funding support for the football/cheerleading program. “Neat” as she is affectionately known, is the League Liaison Officer for the Georgia Youth Football Conference, a program that serves children in Henry, DeKalb and Rockdale Counties. Being the sports enthusiast for our youth, Neat serves as the Mistress of Ceremony for the Youth Cheerleading Competitions for Clayton and Henry counties thereby giving students an opportunity to serve in their community. Not only does she serve as a Volunteer Coordinator for the Dignitaries participation in the Forest Park Recreation Annual Christmas Parade, Neat served as The Volunteer Assistant Youth Director of Forest Park Youth Football and Cheerleading Program for many years.
She is a graduate of Morrow Senior High School in Morrow, Georgia. After graduation she completed a certificate program for data entry at Data Entry Business Institute of Atlanta, Georgia; a subsidiary of Atlanta Area Tech. Mrs. Robinson's professional work experience includes serving DeKalb County for three years as a Correctional Officer as well as serving over twenty years in Corporate America gaining extensive expertise in Sales and Customer Service. Neat Robinson is currently employed within the Henry County Public School System where she graciously serves Austin Road Middle School as a Certified Paraprofessional Teacher for In-School Suspension.
Neat Robinson’s love and commitment for our youth and her community is clearly shown by the works that she has done. Her belief is: “If not now; when? and if not me; who?” She believes that every community -- especially the City of Stockbridge -- desires strong, professional, dedicated, compassionate, hardworking and dependable leadership, and for this reason she, HERNITHA “NEAT” BURDINE ROBINSON, has vowed to commit her life to the people and the community for future development and continuous growth. Neat Robinson is honored to serve the Citizens of Stockbridge as their Councilwoman.
